NOTICE OF MEETING

Notice is hereby given that the Taylor County Commissioners’ Court will participate in a special event ceremony at 9:30 a.m. in the Courthouse lobby for the Breast Cancer Awareness Hanging of the Wreaths and proceed into regular session at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 3, 2017 in the Commissioners’ Courtroom, Taylor County Courthouse (2nd floor) 300 Oak Street, Abilene, Texas, to consider the following items:

Call meeting to order

2.

Invocation and Pledge of Allegiance

3.

Consider approval of minutes of previous meetings and adopt agenda

4.

Present Proclamation for Breast Cancer Awareness Day to Hendrick Breast Institute and Vera West Women’s Center Mammography


5.

Consider approval of budget adjustments and transfers if any

6.

Consider approval of bills for payment

7.

Consider approval of August 2017 Treasurer’s Report


8.

Consider approval of Abilene/Taylor County 911 District proposed budget for FY18 and any appropriate action


9.

Consider approval of bond increase for County Judge and County Court at Law Judges to comply with Senate Bill 40 and Local Government Code 25.0006 and 26.001 and any appropriate action


10.

Consider approval of renewal of an Interlocal Agreement from Burnet County to house Taylor County Inmates and any appropriate action


11.

Consider approval of the goals and objectives of the Certified Economic Development Strategy established for the West Central Texas Economic Development District as part of the West Central Texas Council of Governments and any appropriate action


12.

Consider approval of agreement for relocating of AT&T fiber-optics in current easement at Expo Center and any appropriate action


13.

Adjourn
