| COUNTY COMMISSIONERS - A
Commissioner is elected from each precinct to serve four years. In addition to
sitting on the Commissioners Court, they are responsible for construction and maintenance
of county roads and bridges within their precinct. Meet the

- Made up of the county judge and the four commissioners. The court conducts all
county business including adopting the annual budget and setting the tax rate, maintaining
and improving county facilities including jails; supervising all expenditures and
approving all contracts. |

Represents the Commissioners Court on various
boards, committees and commissions. Conducts research and reports to the

HUMAN RESOURCE ADMINISTRATOR
Coordinator
of medical and dental program, retirement benefits, long-term disability, and other
benefits provided to county employees and retirees. Receives job applications when positions are available. |

RICHARD GREENAWALT
PURCHASING AGENT
Manages the purchasing processes of the County by
researching, formulating and recommending purchasing policies; develops, prepares,
evaluates and presents Invitations to Bid and Requests for Proposals to the Commissioners'
Court. Purchases supplies for all county offices. |

RON SHUFFIELD
HR/RISK MANAGER
Manages pure risks to the county
and analyzes all exposures of loss potential. County Liaison for Property and
Liability Insurance, to include administration of claims processing. Chair of the
countys Loss Prevention Committee. Human Resource administration and coordination:
Employment opportunities, Workers Compensation, employee and retiree benefits. |
