Voting by Mail

TO VOTE BY MAIL IN TAYLOR COUNTY

You may vote early by mail if you are:

65 years of age or older

Disabled

Confined in jail

Going to be absent from the County

Applications for a ballot by mail MUST be submitted to the Early Voting Clerk on or before May 2, 2008. You may obtain a formal application from the Early Voting Clerk or you may submit your request for a mail ballot in writing. Your written request must include:

Your signature

Your name and address where you are registered to vote

The address where you want the ballot mailed

The election date and the election which you are requesting a ballot

Reason why you are eligible to vote by mail

The Early Voting Clerk MUST receive your marked ballot by 7:00 pm on Election Day, May 10, 2008.
